Meet Your Teachers

Nikita Desai


Author of A Beginner’s Guide to the Roots of Yoga and founder of Arya Yoga. Nikita is a London-based educator and yoga teacher who blends traditional knowledge with modern accessibility. Her work is rooted in authenticity, curiosity, and honoring the full spectrum of what yoga truly is.


Kimia Hajian

Kimia is a Prague-based yoga teacher and yoga content creator. She brings a strong Vinyasa practice and certified experience in Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Functional Flexibility. Her teaching explores how intentional and authentic yoga practices can be meaningfully applied to modern-day life.

FAQs

Do I need to have experience with yoga to join?

No. This retreat is open to all levels. The physical asana practice will offer options and modifications to support both beginners and more experienced practitioners.

What will we actually be doing during the retreat?

 You’ll take part in a variety of sessions, including:
Workshops on core philosophical concepts of yoga
A dynamic and spacious Vinyasa class
Pranayama and meditation practices
Journaling and guided self-inquiry
A restful Yoga Nidra session
Space to ask questions and integrate what you learn

Is food included?

Yes. We’ll provide light vegetarian refreshments during the morning and lunch break. If you have any allergies or dietary requirements, please let us know after booking.

Do I need to bring anything?

Just wear comfortable clothes, bring something to write with, and a water bottle. Mats are included, but feel free to bring your own if you prefer.
